I will thank the club and the show committee for inviting me to judge this prestigious show, I feel very honoured to be invited. I really enjoyed my day and was very pleased with huge entries. My winner was really top quality border terriers, excelling in type and heads. The overall quality was very good, but I hoped to see more quality in the younger classes. Size was ok, coats in different stages because of the time of year. It was about 40 years since I judged my first CC show in England and I still enjoy it so much. My stewards did a fantastic job on the day, keeping both me and the dogs in order. They make it running very smooth and efficient, thank you!!!

Junior Handling

Judge
: Mr Paul Cheeseman (Bromscar) with his winners

Class "A"     6 - 11 years  Entries 2: Absentees 0

1st: Lauren Goddard: Good attentive handler. Kept herself and her charge calm at all times, did as she was asked perfectly. Has a good knowledge of the points of the Border Terrier.  Best Junior Handler

2nd: Abigail Chandler: A decent young handler. Her charge was a little more of a handful than the class winner, but she did a sterling job in keeping control and making the best of it. Decent knowledge of the points of the
Border Terrier.

Class "B"    12 - 16 years Entries 2: Absentees 0

1st: Caitlin Lister: Another good attentive handler. She earned her place by controlling her charge who was playing up quite happily at times. Her steady attitude won the day in the class. Good knowledge of the points of the Border Terrier, and knows what a Border Terriers job entails.

2nd: Cheyenne Jade Lothian: Both handler and dog not on the best of form today. Handler needs to become a little more pro-active in helping the dog show itself off a little more. A little time spent studying the points of
the Border Terrier may help in the future.
